At the beginning, I spent six months traveling in Southeast Asia before moving on to New Zealand. In New Zealand, I spent three months exploring the South and North Island in a camper van. I then moved on to Tasmania, and from Melbourne I started another road trip along the coast to Exmouth. The freedom I experienced on these trips was simply indescribable – until Corona suddenly turned everything upside down.
\nI returned to the Allg\u00e4u, but quickly realized that I was missing something: the feeling of freedom that I had during my trip! The wanderlust wouldn’t let go of me, and even my regular vacation trips couldn’t stop this feeling.
\nMy partner Simon, who I met in 2022, felt the same way. We wanted to travel again and work remotely at the same time. Living as digital nomads seemed like the perfect solution to us.
\nIn June 2024, we deregistered from Germany, quit our jobs, gave up our apartment and sold everything that didn’t fit in our backpacks.
\nWe now live wherever we like – anywhere in the world – and live our vision board!<\/p>\n
