HIGHLIGHTS
The highlights of your rainforest tour
For over two decades, this rainforest tour has been taking visitors from all over the world through the Australian rainforest and to stunning waterfalls. The combination of music, food, different cultures and breathtaking natural history makes this tour an unforgettable experience. The friendly guides enjoy the tour as much as your guests as they love to share their stories and talk about their heritage. At the beginning of the rainforest tour, you will hike leisurely to the Babinda Boulders through the rainforest, the oldest living history museum, and swim in crystal clear mountain water. Simply incredible! Then it’s off to the Josephine Falls, which extend over three levels and offer the most impressive natural swimming pool in Australia! After a break and refreshment with delicious food in the teahouse, we continue to Millaa Millaa Falls, where you can swim behind a 30-metre-high waterfall. Afterwards, you will learn more about Lake Eacham, a volcanic crater lake that is over 60 meters deep and was formed by underground pressure and a final eruption. The last stop of the rainforest tour is something very special. In Yungaburra you look out for a special Australian animal, the platypus.
