This is arguably the best way to get to know Sydney and it also makes for an unforgettable gift for a special someone. Overlook the amazing Sydney Harbour and climb the outer arch of the Harbour Bridge. The entrance to the Climb Base is located underneath the Bradfield Highway, from where you walk across planks to the south-eastern pier of the bridge. Here you climb over four ladders to the upper arch. Then go around the outer arch of the bridge until you finally reach the summit on the side of the opera house. Once you have reached the top, you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the surrounding area as you climb the 1332 steps, and once at the top you have an unforgettable 360-degree view of the city, the opera house, the harbor and much more.
ROUTE
Your way Down Under
- All participants are required to check in at the BridgeClimb premises, 3 Cumberland Street, The Rocks at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Arrival after this time may result in participation at BridgeClimbs being refused without refund. Alcohol should not be consumed prior to the climb.
- Each participant will be breath tested and should a climber have a blood alcohol concentration reading of 0.05% or more, they will not be allowed to participate in a climb. All climbers must complete a registration form and meet BridgeClimb’s conditions. There are no refunds where requirements are not met. Climbers must consider any medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely climb ladders and steep slopes.
- The Bridge Climb Sydney experience is moderately strenuous, very exhilarating and exposed to the weather.

Everyone must wear suitable rubber-soled shoes such as running shoes or hiking boots. PVC and leather soles are not suitable.
