Another day in Melbourne and then on the night bus to Sydney - Day 5
Arrival in Sydney, 3 nights in Sydney - Day 6
Free day to explore Sydney, e.g. Bondi Beach, Opera House, The Rocks, Manly Beach - Day 7
Day trip to the Blue Mountains - Day 8
Sydney during the day and overnight bus to Byron Bay - Day 9

Free morning in Rainbow Beach, briefing for Fraser Island and group formation in the afternoon - Day 20-22
Fraser Island camping tour with a 4WD through the sand in the rainforest and along the beach. You’ll go to beautiful lakes and lookouts, play in the sand dunes and see the dingoes (wild dogs). You can even drive yourself if you are over 21 years old, otherwise you can still take part in the tour, but you are not allowed to drive. Groups of 8 are formed and the convoy follows the guide. (2 x F, 3 x M, 2 x A)
Extra costs: $20 insurance (compulsory) and $15 sleeping bag rental fee if necessary - Day 22
After an amazing tour, there is a small farewell party in the evening and you spend another night in Rainbow Beach - Day 23
During the day in Rainbow Beach and in the evening by night bus to Airlie Beach - Day 24
Arrival in Airlie Beach - Day 25-27
Whitsundays sailing tour with 2 overnight stays on a sailing boat. There you will spend a lot of relaxing time on the boat, go snorkeling, sail around some of the more than 70 islands and go to the BEST beach in Australia: WHITEHAVEN BEACH!!!! (2 x F, 1 x M, 2 x A) - Day 27
Back in Airlie Beach there is also a farewell party and you spend another night in Airlie Beach - Day 28
Travel by bus to Townsville, from here take the ferry to Magnetic Island, where you will spend 2 nights in a beautiful hostel right on the beach - Day 29
Free day on Magnetic Island, here you can hike in the national park, go snorkeling, hand-feed wild wallabies (small kangaroos) or hold a koala (koala holding is not included) - Day 30
check out from the hostel and ferry back to Townsville, from there continue by bus to Cairns, where you will spend 3 nights - Day 31
Day trip to the Great Barrier Reef incl. snorkeling (extra costs $20 reef fee and trial dive if desired) (M) - Day 32

Just get in touch with us and we will send you more information. – Individual tours within this trip may change slightly depending on the starting days. For example, the free day in Rainbow Beach could take place after the tour to Fraser Island instead of before. We will inform you accordingly. – Minimum age 18 years. – This package is not a guided tour, you will be traveling from place to place by bus. On the tours you will be traveling in different groups. – Accommodation is in dormitories for 4 to 8 people and twice on the night bus.
