Adelaide to Melbourne 3 Day / 2 Night – Great Ocean Road Tour

This Adelaide to Melbourne Great Ocean Road tour takes you along the world’s most famous coastal road and is available in both directions, from Melbourne to Adelaide and from Adelaide to Melbourne. The itinerary described here is from Adelaide to Melbourne, the route from Melbourne to Adelaide is exactly the same, just in the opposite direction. Day 1
The tour begins with a journey through the Adelaide Hills. Then it’s off to the Grampians National Park. Here you hike to the Mc Kenzie Falls and experience a breathtaking view from The Balconies and in the late afternoon you can spot kangaroos and other wildlife. You will spend the first night in a hostel in the heart of the national park. Day 2
Spend the morning visiting the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Center and hiking in the beautiful Grampians. Then head south to the fantastic coastline on the Great Ocean Road and the Bay of Martyrs, London Bridge, Loch Ard Gorge and finally the spectacular 12 Apostles at sunset. Once again, you will spend the night in a hostel, this time on the Great Ocean Road. Day 3
After breakfast, you can enjoy the beauty of the Otway National Park and hike through one of the oldest temperate rainforests here. Back on the Great Ocean Road, you can admire the historic section of the impressive coastal road, which was originally built by returning soldiers from the First World War. The drive offers incredible views and stops at the coastal villages of Apollo Bay and Lorne, as well as the surfing beaches of Anglesa, Bells Beach and Torquay, where you have time to hit the waves yourself, before heading to your final destination of Melbourne via Geelong.
