Water temperatures range from 22°C to 30°C, making it a pleasant place to dive all year round. The five-day PADI Cairns diving course is divided into two sections:
- 2 days of training in the pool and in the classroom The online part is also available in German.
- 3 days and 2 nights boat trip to the outer Great Barrier Reef
You will spend the first two days in the training center and learn the theoretical content of diving, which you will then put into practice in the pool. At the end of the second day, you will be invited to take part in a “Reef Teach” – a marine biology presentation – where you will learn more about the Great Barrier Reef (fee not included). Days 3 – 5 will be spent on a boat in the Great Barrier Reef. During this time you will complete your 4 training and qualification dives which will complete your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
