HIGHLIGHTS
The highlights of Rottnest Island
Rottnest Island is home to the famous quokkas. Quokkas are the cute little animals that are perfect for a selfie. When a Dutchman discovered the island, he thought the quokkas were rats, so he named the island “Rotte Nest” (rat’s nest) and the name stuck. The island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches that you can explore on your own with your bike and snorkel.
