HIGHLIGHTS
The highlights of your diving course Great Barrier Reef Tour
Great Barrier Reef Dive Course;
If time prevents you from joining our popular five-day course but you still want to enjoy the liveaboard experience, this four-day course is the perfect option for you. Classroom instruction is replaced with online e-learning that you can complete in your own time before arriving in Cairns, leaving just one mandatory practical training day at our PADI Five Star Dive and Career Development Center. The online course is also available in German. Ocean dives are conducted as normal during our three-day, two-night liveaboard tour to the Great Barrier Reef. With warm water, minimal current and great visibility all year round, the Great Barrier Reef is the best place on earth to learn to dive. The four-day course consists of three parts:
- After your booking you will receive instructions on how to login to the online PADI eLearning Open Water course module. These modules and quizzes must be completed prior to your arrival in Cairns and the start of your practical training.
- One day of practical training at the Pro Dive Cairns training center.
- Three days and two nights on a liveaboard trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
Your practical training takes place at the Pro Dive Cairns training center. Centrally located in Cairns City, the training center has two heated dive pools with a depth of four meters. You will learn in comfort and safety with our qualified PADI instructors. After your day at the training center, it’s time to head to the Great Barrier Reef and embark on a three-day, two-night liveaboard adventure to become a certified diver! On the Great Barrier Reef diving course, you will have the opportunity to complete up to nine dives. The first four dives are training dives that will complete your PADI Open Water certification. After completing these, you can enjoy five recreational dives, including an exciting night dive under the guidance of your instructor. With a limited number of students, this is a very personalized certification course.
